I guess you could speculate that anyone molding these lenses
would be unlikely to make a mold containing cavities for just
a single pair of lenses. More likely they would include several
pairs in a "family mold". It's likely that the mold would be
fine-machined to match the cavities in pairs, with the pairs of
lenses intended to stay together on their individual sprues
until installation/sale.

If someone removed them from the sprues and mixed lenses from
separate cavity-pairs, I guess a mismatch would be possible.
