I don't understand why one lense would be that much different from
another if they are cast in the same mold. It seems to me that if the
mold wasn't filled properly then one or both surfaces of the lense would
have to be so irregular as to render the lense unusable. Why, then,
should the lenses not be consistent...could they be using different
materials with differing indices of refraction? (I hope I asked that
right)
