Argus

I've been trying to catch up on the digests and saw mention of a camera
called an Argus.  If I remember my Greek mythology right (maybe Dr. T can
help me here), the Argus had 1000 eyes- which would have given lots of
hypo-hyper combinations to choose from.

That leads me to another question: I read an article about a fellow who has
mounted several hundred cameras on the outside of a van.  Most are
functional and many are synched (is it a "stereo" van?)  Apparently he has
taken several trips across the continental U.S. and taken many stereos.
Does anyone know who this man is?

Finally, I had the great good fortune to attend the regional NSA meeting in
New England last weekend.  I just wanted to thank Dick LaForge for sharing
his "Lechuguilla Cave" program which was spectacular.  Paul Wing's "Valves"
was also a real crowd pleaser.  Thanks to everyone involved!
