View-Magic

I just received a View-Magic viewer and notice that when I look
at the pictures I took, compared to pictures in the instruction
books that came with the viewer, there seems to be a better flow
of depth.  Is it the poor quality of the prints in the booklets
that make them seem more like cut-outs?
