Splitters, Loreo, Argus, etc.

In a recent discussion, some folks seemed to be saying that if you already
have a Loreo, there's little reason to get a "splitter" attachment for an
SLR. My question is: if you already have a splitter, is there any reason
to get a Loreo? My SLR with a splitter is still pretty big and bulky, and
it's not a fully automatic camera, so there's still a question of setting
exposure, focusing, etc. Would it be more convenient to get a Loreo or Argus
style style camera?

Also, does anyone have recommendations on Loreo vs. Argus? They look almost
identical in the photos I've seen, and have only a few differences in
features (2 apertures for Loreo vs. 1 for Argus). How about the optics?
Any differences?

Thanks,
-pd
