How short everyone's memory is.
Jerry Nims was, I believe, involved with the financial dealings of a
celebrated TV preacher before he became associated with Allen Lo. I think it
was his background as a promoter that caused some of the photographic press
to express suspicions that the Nimslo was only a stock-floating scheme
before products actually appeared.
Questions following the collapse of Nimslo, then Nishika:
Isn't Allen Lo behind Image Tech?
Are there other than technical reasons for the Image Tech cameras to use
three, rather than four, lenses?
Wasn't Jerry Nims behind Nishika?
Who do you suppose escaped from the ruins of Nishika with enough of the
technology and patents to found Nimstech? (Hint: N-i-m-s)
Do Nims and Lo now speak to each other? (They could be the best of friends,
for all I know.)
There is some fascinating business history here.
I'll fork over cash in advance for a copy of the book if somebody reputable
agrees to write it.
