lucky enough to discover the joy of stereo projection.  However, the fact
remains that the viewer provides superior images for those who can use it.

Which brings in mind a personal observation:  I have noticed that people
who do not wear glasses are the best canditates for the "wow" reaction when
presented with a "loaded" stereo slide viewer.  There is no question in my
mind that glasses reduce the effectiveness and especially the REALISM of
viewing good slides in a good viewer.

Even if the viewer was adjustable to 50 mm, you still
would not be able to see the stereo image because the images are separated
by 65 mm and your eyes would have to diverge.  The size of the lenses is
important too.  The smaller the lenses (typical VM) the worse the
situation.
