TDC 116 (was Re: Post Message)

I recently acquired a TDC 116 and it projects full frame 35 mm just fine,
tho the chips are mounted in standard 1-5/8" x 4" masks. I have what is
apparently the older TDC 116 slide carrier which will accomodate full 8 perf
slides. At least that is what others on this list have told me. The "newer"
carrier is limited to 5p slides, I think. I use both the 7p Albion and the
full frame RBT masks for mounting my twin 35 mm slides.
As far as availability, once I started my search I found several and even
found one conveniently near by in excellent condtion. I suggest that you
look in news groups like alt.photo.marketplace. Also, when you post to this
list (or the sell-3d list) make it plain in the subject line what you want:
WTB TDC 116, for example.
Good luck
