heat sealing

Well, I'm a newbie at this, but i've been using the Reel 3-D heat
seal mounts for the last month and really like them. I use their tape
pieces to secure the film chips, then when they're all done i fire up
the iron, to medium heat. It only takes a few seconds in each position
on the mount to seal the glue; I work around the mount in 8 steps. But
i can do two at a time now, so it's only half as tedious %^)
Seems pretty safe unless you don't pay attention and hit the film itself
with the hot iron (you only want to apply heat to the cardboard, not the
film!). I haven't done that yet.
