Titles

It all depends on how you are creating the titles. Computer images?
Double-exposed over existing image? Plastic letters on transparent glass in
front of something? Any of a dozen other unrelated ways? The only real
rule-of-thumb that covers all the possibilities is to make sure that the
titles are "in front of" any other graphic in the shot. You don't want them
slicing a chunk out of Aunt Matilda's abdomen or boring their way into the
front wall of your house! (On the other hand, you don't want them so FAR
out front that the viewer can't resolve the title and the background at the
same time.)
