Alex Klein 25 Tim Stabler 2

I enjoyed Charlie's posting regarding his race with the giant, one of the
few posts that I read twice! I think his point was that the little guy
(e.g. Charlie with 7 rolls) can beat the Giant (e.g. DrT with 88 rolls)
using intelligence to counterbalance shear film-burning "power." (It is
either that, or the story had no point related to 3d at all :)).

This conclusion can be true, except, as Eric Goldstein pointed out, to
acquire this "intelligence" you usually need to burn a lot of film!
Also, Charlie called this posting of facts (rolls consumed by stereo
photographers) "bragging". So far, the only person who bragged about his
roll consumption is Wolfgang Sell ("see I did great, even though I ONLY
shot two rolls!")

Personally, I am embarrassed for winning this race and I can assure you
that I don't need all that film to take a few good pictures. However, I do
need quite a bit of film to stay in first place in Detroit, month after
month of one assignment after the other... I am sure my main competitor
this year has to say the same, but he is not in photo-3d (he must be busy
taking stereo pictures right now...:))
