I only have one of them, but it was definitely NOT stereoscopic.
It DID have simulated motion in the Z-plane, however (it was an X-Wing
fighter coming straight at you while firing its lasers), so I think this
is the classic terminology problem where what WE call "3D" is stereo,
while what computer graphics people call "3D" means data in three
dimensions (X,Y,Z), not necessarily stereoscopically displayed. It's
what we would call "2.5D".
