Wonders of The Stereoscope

Was there some discussion in this group a while back about a book
called"Wonders of the Stereoscope"?.  There was a copy of this book in the
Magic Lantern society convention auction about a week ago. The original
price was still on which was 12.50 sterling so it could not be older than
1970/71 and was published 100 years after the heyday of stereo (when would
that be ) .It consisted of two books in a slip case one of text and the
other stereo pairs with a plastic viewer ,I have a feeling it was available
new quite recently and may even be still in print. At the auction it went
for 65 pounds sterling!.        P.J.Homer
