I have no trouble parallel viewing very large images. Stereoviews are
a cinch for me. I can even see stereo through the viewfinders of the
RBT X2B... but I've measured my interpupilary distance at 2-3/4", which
is 1/4" greater than the "nominal". I'll be this single factor is the
most significant in whether people can parallel view easily or at all.
(It HAS gotten easier to do over time; when I first got Harold Lloyd's
book I needed the lorgnette to fuse the images, but now I can freeview
them as well. I can also cross-view, but to me it feels like I'm
working at it. I'm mildly myopic, and must remove my glasses to
parallel view, while with cross-viewing I must keep them on.)
