**** If I recall the charter for the group states something to the effect
that P3D is for discussions relating to all things stereoscopic in nature.
Today's computer developments certainly qualify in that department. And lest
you think there is no connection between cameras and computers, think again.
Hardly anything is done in the media world that doesn't involve computer
processing in some way.
Cameras are very useful and here to stay, so are computers. As new viewing
systems for 3D arrive for your home PC, there is more and more reason to
associate these two tools in your *photography* tool box. They are not
exclusionary but complimentary. :-)
Just as many camera oriented discussions delve into levers, gears, shutters,
exposure methods, lenses and even more esoteric discussions, the talk
relating to computer 3D involves video cards, monitors, and related
technical issues. I assure you we minimize any such discussions which don't
relate to 3D. If it doesn't make sense to you now, in a few months it will.
That's the same process that happens with much of the camera information, to
a person who spends most of their 3D time in computers.
