Take a small pocket-knive and slide carefully between the black and white
halves of the stereo mount. Then turn the knive slightly and the mount
will pop open. Usually, nothing will break - but probably one pin will
break every 20 or 25 mounts you open. Usually one broken pin is no big
deal.
