EUREKA-STORING SLIDES

Last week, on a collectors fair (all kinds of collections, stamps, dolls,
coins etc.) I ran into these people who were collecting "telecards". These
are the kind of cards we use to operate public phones. They also were
selling two types of plastic sheets to store the telecards. One type happens
to be perfect for storing stereoslides. There's room for two rows of five
slides. The telecards are a bit shorter so the slidemount protrudes a bit
towards the middle of the sheets which facilitates removing them. (The other
type was useless since the cards are inserted from the top and each space is
just to narrow). I don't know about long term effect with respect to
archival quality but they most certainly are NOT vinyl as REEL 3E's are.
They were selling them for 50 ct. a piece.
