A serendipity

I gave two stereo slide presentations this week, one to a school
yesterday and one to a local historical society earlier this evening.
Both went surprisingly well. I explained the system briefly, showed my
Revere and my Loreo around and explained the difference between what ABC
TV is doing and what I did.I was happy to see that the younger members of
the historical society were full of interest and questions about the
equipment and techniques involved. I answered questions for 45 minutes
after the show. Folks of all ages seemed to really enjoy the photos and
wanted more. I was gratified.
Then a young fellow came up and told me that he had an old viewer that
used a different kind of slide and that he had some nude figure study
slides for it. He told me to stop by and I could have it. Well, when my
party was ready to leave we decided to stop by and see the guy's viewer.
Imagine my surprise when he gifted me with a Realist Red Button Viewer,
in fine shape, and a box of about fifty vintage color nude female figure
studies.
The odd thing about the slides is that they are mostly in blank, slip in
style moun-ts. A few are in red, taped together parer and aluminum
mounts marked,"Stereo '50'Viewer Corporation, 946 Cahuenga Blvd.
Hollywood 38, Calif. " Has anyone seen these before?
I must go now, these slides will require some study.
