The key operative word is IF WERE BUILT. This is not the case and
would be very difficult to achieve, especially without distortions.
The best real world solution is to do as you always believed which
IMO is correct compared to what others may say. Since they aren't
large enough, then you do have to adjust them. Thus in theory no
but in practice yes!
