More on Doritos & Star Wars lenticulars...

(I just found this, back from Feb.; apparently I never sent
it... better late than never!)
Ah well, I just wasted $3+ buying a bag of
Doritos to get the "3-D Motion" card inside (so says
the bag front). The bag back claims Chee-tos has the motion
cards too. Well, the rectangular card has motion, but the one I got
(#6 of 6) certainly *isn't* 3-D; it couldn't be because the
lenticular grid is horizontal, not vertical! It's smaller
than an ordinary baseball card in size.
Not yet mentioned is that there are also free "motion discs"
inside the SMALLER bags of Doritos. I haven't found
any of these yet (I had a hard enough time just finding
a "specially marked" huge bag of Doritos).
[I ultimately did find a few of these quarter-sized disks, at
small sub-shops and gas stations. The small motion disks are only
2-frame 2D animation. The larger cards
in the big bags were multi-frame, 2D animation.
My daughter has provided me with a non-Dorito(?) motion
lenticular of the "Princess Leia (bending/turning off R2) Hologram" effect
from the movie. I have no idea where it came from. The back only says
"c 1996 Lucasfilm Ltd. Applause Printed in USA".]
[ I got a Star Wars 3D lenticular set this month, and I just (May 15)
saw a promo(?) card from an Empire Strikes Back set, so maybe that's coming.]
