I don't think you have to be that old to catch it. The famous scene in
"Chinatown" has long since passed into the world of parody, and there have
been a number of "takes" on it in other shows.
As for the 3D elements of 3rd Rock, they were frequently impressive and my
only major criticism is that they didn't do ENOUGH with it -- which is a
far cry from my criticism of the ABC shows!
