Note: This was send yesterday but got lost in cyberspace somehow.

Ahh but George your an exception of course. For someone that strives for
perfection in 3D, Pulfrich sucks. ;;;-)
I never had a problem seeing 3D in Pulfrich 3D but of course for some
others autosuggestion plays a big part as you know. I usually use a
a second trained "control" observer which is pretty reliable. In watching
3D Pulfrich in 3rd Rock or in general, my "control" observer (my daughter)
reacts with enthusiam and says, "oh yea!, it's in 3d" whenever there
is a 3d segment. And in almost all instances that's exactly the same
time I also see it. So I know it's not autosuggestion in this case.
Haven't ruled out genetics though. ;-) Will have to get another "control"
test subject.
Now what was the subject of this thread? Oh yea, you didn't "discover the
joy" of Pulfrich 3D. Well that's what a Realist and Red Button do to yea.
Spoils you rotten. ;-)
P.S. Maybe your first experience didn't take advantage of the Pulfrich effect
properly? IMO it can look like TRUE stereoscopic 3D and am always surprised
at others (not you since you mention you don't see no effect?) that state
it's not true 3D and only a poor illusion at best.
