Thank you, John. 
That's because SL3D broadcasts exactly the same as a standard flattie. You
need the shuttered glasses to recover the 3-D, yes, but there are no
annoying dual lens artifacts to degrade the 2-D image. 

Anyway, I like the look of SL3D mo' better o-)
