Re: Camera winding: before shooting



I wind immediately before shooting because I can avoid blank frames.
 When I did it the other way I would find that I couldn't remember
whether I'd taken the shot or not.  Sometimes my red indicator
wouldn't appear after taking a shot, so I'd look down and see that
the indicator was clear and not remember if I'd already shot.  If
under such circumstances I would just cock the shutter and shoot, I
may get a double exposure, so I'd advance the film anyway.  That
resulted in blank frames (and sometimes, prevented double
exposures!). Now that I've fixed the indicator so I can rely on it,
I still prefer to advance and cock just before taking the picture.
