No. The red filter passes only red light. This has the effect of turning
the white background to red, rendering the red channel invisible to the
eye wearing the red filter. Conversely, since blue contains no red
light, the blue image appears black to the eye wearing the red filter.
Thus the eye wearing the red filter is seeing the blue channel, and
vice versa.
