Miss Stereo of 1952

Last evening AMC ran a little Warner/Pathe Newsreel clip that showed Nancy
Olsen as Miss Stereo of 1952. John Wayne, whose appearance with Olsen in a
then current movie was prominently mentioned, and the previous Miss Stereo,
Virginia Mayo, were shown wielding Realist cameras.

It was plug city.

I winced when Wayne snapped the brittle Realist lens conver shut with a
sharp slap.
