Reel-3D prices, etc.

I recently bought a my first stereo projector, and started looking for a
silver screen. I figured I'd have to start going to yard sales, since the
cheapest silver screen in the Reel 3D catalog was about $100. Then I
discovered that B&H Photo sells this same exact screen for HALF that amount!
I also checked light meters, projector lamps, etc. and in every case, Reel
3D's prices were higher, usually by 50% to 100%!

I can certainly understand that Reel 3D, being a low volume business, would
have somewhat higher prices. I would even patronize Reel 3D, despite
slightly higher prices, just to support and help promote 3D. But this
difference in price is too great to be explained by volume. Does anyone know
why their mark-up is so high? It might actually be detrimental to 3D if
newcomers get the impression that all the equipment is so expensive.
