Mine doesn't say *that*, but it does say stereo, not 3-D.
When people ask me "What kind of camera is that?", I say "It's a stereo
camera". If they give me a blank look, I might say that it takes
three-dimensional pictures, but I don't usually say 3-D.
I don't worry too much about the confusion over stereo(phonic) vs.
stereo(scopic). Haven't I seen ads for "3-D Sound" recently?

True, sadly enough, not to mention that it's likely one of those "one size
fits most" adjustable jobs that I *might* be able to balance on *top* of my
size 8 head. But I'll make do. Maybe I'll trade you for the 3rd place NSA
'95 View-Master (tm) packet. :--)
