Another (less dramatic) example is the model D View Master viewer.
Reel 3-D used to sell it brand new and with the stand for only $85.
I was lucky to get one at this price. When they ran out of supplies,
the price of this desirable viewer jumped to $125 or more (used!) and
the stand goes for close to $100, if you can find it! When Reel 3-D
carried them, the viewer was not in production. But they were able
to get them together with the "Chinese Art" VM set and offered them
for sale to the stereo community. I am glad I realized the value
of this offering...

>From all their unique and useful products, I am very impressed with
the reproduction of the two historical books, Theodore Brown's
"Stereoscopic Phenomena of Light and Sight" (1903) and F. Drouin's
"The Stereoscope and Stereoscopic Photography" (1894) (a note for
Bill Walton: "Stereoscopic", not "Stereo" but they are both "foreigners"
:-)) I cannot figure out how Susan and David can afford to sell those
wonderful books for only $15 ea. or $25 a pair!!!

And let's not forget that Alan Lewis got the inspiration for his amazing
"Freeviewer's Assistant" from one of the pictures in Brown's book. No
Reel 3-D, no" Assistant"!

Another Reel 3-D original find, that means a lot to me, is the halogen
viewer light bulb with screw base. No Reel 3-D, no bright viewing,
no DrT! It is that simple! (it was the halogenization of my red button
viewer that got me started into writing my "red button" book, followed by
other books and viewer-related services)

Yeap! I think it is obvious by now! Thanks Peter for starting this thread!
