Yes, it is hard to "sell" something unconventional like that...

That's why I had the idea of shooting the wedding next to my favorite 
regular photographer, without negotiating anything in adavance.  After
the wedding is over and my slides ready, I show them to the couple
and ask them if they are interested in buying them.  If the say "no"
it is not a big deal.  More nice slides for my collection.

I asked the photographer to call me when he had a nice photogenic
wedding to shoot.  He never did and I did not follow up with that.
As a matter of fact, that reminds me to go and pick up my viewer.
Wedding stereo photography is a good idea for someone with lots of 
free time!
