I just got my first 1 roll back on Thursday, and from Alexa's
description it sounds like different people were running the lab
when they processed her order. (Or maybe 8 rolls get extra special
attention?) All of my prints have some sort of smeary marks on the
surface...my best guess is they were not dried properly, or the
equipment at the end of the line was leaving some kind of residue
on the prints. It seems to be agreeable to being wiped off, but
I'm trying to decide the best way to go about that without damaging
the prints further.

The bigger problem is blank (white) spots on the prints, as though
the negatives, the enlarger, the paper or something was dirty and
prevented any light from reaching the paper. Some of the marks
are thin lines of various shapes, possibly hair in some cases, but
when it is shaped like a very smooth S that suggests otherwise.

(The other problems with the prints are probably due to the cheap
camera I used, or the person (me!) operating it.)

Should I send mine back to be reprinted?
