Adam, I missed the beginning... did you say you are in Tokyo Japan?
Even for Tokyo these prices are in the high side... perhaps you
should consider looking at a different (cheaper?) neiborhood?
FYI, I have posted these cameras for sale in S3d:
- Kodak, apparently working fine, $85
- TDC Colorist I (sharp lenses!), w/case, $125
Both cameras remain unsold.
Just relax, save your money and when you come back from your trip I'll
have a Realist ready for you. I just pulled 4 out of my inventory
of about 15 Realist 3.5s, checked the focus and approved them. I'll
need some time to clean them, etc. One goes for the Rent-A-Realist
program in our club, one for the Rent-A-Realist program that I am
starting on my own (will post details later) and the rest will be
eventually sold. So, save your money and buy a stereo camera from
someone who knows what they are selling and will give you a good
warranty in case there is a problem (there are a few people in S3d
that meet these requirements).
