virtual boy at Wal-Mart

I just thought I'd note that yesterday I was down at the nearest
large Wal-Mart (90 miles away) and they had two VBs on the shelf,
still marked at $30. They professed not to know about a price in the
$23 range as mentioned here. They also still had a number of game
carts, but I didn't check on the price of those.
Incidentally - my partner's son (12 yrs old) was completely taken
by the VB on a recent visit here. He can't understand why it's
being cut! But he sure want's one.
I also picked up (finally) a copy of "Toy Story" with a $5 rebate
coupon which expired Jan 31st (can you say "overstock!"?).
Aside from the opening promos (which were quite lengthy - typical
Disney), boy am I impressed! I particularly liked the sign in front
of a house for sale which was listed by "Virtual Realty" :-)
I wonder if anyone ever was able to pull out a couple of frames
from any "dolly" shots? Right offhand I didn't see any scenes
which were static long enough to get a stereo pair, but I wasn't
looking really closely.
