Bas Reliefs

Hi,

Adam Beckerman asked what Bas reliefs are recently. I held off from
replying because I've only read of them and not tried it for myself, but
since so did everyone else....

A bas relief is a sandwich of a slide and a high contrast (lith film)
negative copy of itself. If they are offset relative to each other very
slightly the effect is like a carving in a stone wall.

What a stereo pair would look like after that sort of tinkering I have no
idea. The mind boggles.
