Postage Stamps & ChromaDepth

Found some decent 3D effect on some US Stamps. The $ .32 riverboat stamps
when viewed through ChromaDepth Lenses (from Crayola "Jumping Colors") give
some nice results. Because of limited color range, the results are not
overly bizaar.

The best ones appear to be the riverboats named,
"Bailey Gatzert" (blue background) and
"Sylvan Dell" (yellow/orange background).
"Rebecca Everingham" (yellow bkgrd.) is not bad, but somewhat pseudoscopic.
Of course, the effects are not perfect: smokestacks and flags tend to stand
either behind or before the boats.

Could our US Postmaster possibly be coaxed into producing an _intentional_ 3D
stamp, either for ChromaDepth, Parallel, or Anaglyph viewing? In light of
the Realist anniversary (which I doubt they would celebrate, being a
commercial venture) why not make an attempt. What better place to raise
American's awareness than the common postage stamp.

Regards,
Robert Linnstaedt
