I have enjoyed 'Highway U.S.A.', but I wish I could
be there for David Hutchison's presentation!

One more short reminder, a little further west and this
Thursday (August 21st), The Stereo Club of Southern California
moves to their new meeting location for their August meeting.
At our August meeting, we are trying something different.
SCSC usually takes a break during the month of August. This
year we have a fun meeting planned. Members and guests are
invited to bring ten of their favorite slides. Everyone is
invited to this evening of stereo viewing.

The new location is The Wilshire United Methodist Church at
711 South Plymouth Blvd. near Highland & Wilshire. The meeting
starts at 7:30 p.m.

Also on Sept. 6th the SCSC Movie Division meets at its usual
location, the Longley Way School in Arcadia. Located at
2601 Longley Way, commencing at 7:00 p.m.
After a short business meeting,
to discuss the developments in the PSA recognized
'Second Ever Stereoscopic 3D Movie/Video Competition',
we will have our usual Show & Tell. So bring your newest
(or oldest) 3D goodie to show off.
All this, of course, will be followed by some great 3D viewing.
Among other things, we will have the old NASA '3-D Vistas
of Mars' tape to compare with the current 3D shots coming
from the Red(/Cyan) Planet. Member, Chris Perry has promised
to bring some of the unique 3D which he is currently selling
in National magazines. These include the 3D test footage from
'The Incredible Shrinking Woman' and 'Coming Atractions' from
a bunch of 50s 3D films. I can hardly wait! See you all there.

Thanks for the time,
Lawrence Kaufman
