I wish that I had had more time to spend at SIGGRAPH '97!
I missed a lot. There was a lot of 3D to enjoy. In addition
to Infinity, who licensed their display from Steve Hines at
HinesLab (for 3 markets out of 10). Dimension Technologies
Inc. displayed their DTI2012 Virtual Window a 12.1" TFT LCD unit.

Chromtek, Inc had a large display area of all their ChromoDepth
tie-ins from Wendy's comic books to 3D Tennis shoes for kids.

The lenticular company Depthography had some very nice examples
http://www.depthography.com
(Art)n Laboratory also had some great linticulars.
http://www.artn.nwu.edu
(AleXAnticular, sorry you missed them).
Pyramid Systems(SM), Inc. had the CAVE(TM) set up in a tent.
A fully immersive experimental environment.

Intergraph Corporation, http://www.intergraph.com/ics
3D Planet, http://www.3dplanet.com
MuSE Technologies, Inc. (MTI)
http://www.musetech.com
Vision International, http://www.vision-int.com
MultiGen, Inc., http://www.mulitgen.com
and n-vision, http://www.nvis.com
all had 3D demos.

Odyssey Productions (Mind's Eye) is interested in pursuing
stereo if they could sell it. http://www.odyssey3d.com
The RealEyes 3D company is buying stereoscopic video!

The Virtual Binoculars (available from nvision) where
set up at one booth with headtracking 3D images of mars.
You could hold the binoculars and look around, just as
if you were on Mars.

Thanks for the time,
