My advice is not to bother. I've been a middling serious photographer
for something like 47 years now. During that time two rolls of film
got lost while being sent to be processed. The latest involved Kodak,
which went to great lengths to find it, and called me to tell me when
it was found.

The other was the only time I photographed a horned lizard, the roll
was lost by Sunset, my letter was never answered, and I no longer
deal with them.

Nimstech seems pretty responsible; I would not bother making copy
negatives, but on the other hand I would not send all my best
negatives in one batch.

Good luck,

Dr. G.
