Re: RBT mounts

RBT mounts are close to the "opposite" of slip-in's in terms of
precision-mounting. Slip-in's work "okay" for viewer viewing
where almost anything is forgiven (I'll get roasted for that
probably... but room for error is tremendous when viewer viewing)
but precision mounting is required for projecting where even tiny
errors can be a problem. Slip-in's are the champ for ease
of use with viewers ONLY (well, second only to having Kodak mount
it for you).

They "count" the perferations on 35mm film. Used to indicate
"width". Sometimes you'll use a mount narrower than your
camera's images to gain "editing room" wanted for various
reasons.

I'm sure you'll hear from the several people (on this list)
who sell RBT mounts. :-)

If you join a club near you, you may be able to get some
group-purchase discounts as well.

You may want to do a photo-3D archive search on "RBT;mount".
I suspect most if not all your questions will be answered. :-)

FFFFer sure.
