Slide mounts

I'd like to ask for recommendations please. I shoot realist format slide
pairs and have a small asst. of mounts like albion, heat seals and slip
ins. I try to maintain a level of quality mounting by using a mounting
guage on just about every pair I mount. If a pair line up very well I
will use the slip ins,or heat seals, If I need to crop or adjust the
stereo window ( or find a shot I really like) I use the albions. I do
not own a projector and at this point I cannot critique these shots
until I view them in a projector to decide which shots I want to glass
mount and enter in competitions etc. If properly aligned etc. can heat
seals, spicers be used in a projector until the decision is made to
glass mount or do I risk damaging the images? Are heat seals ok in a
projector even if they are glass mounted? Since glass slides are
expensive and only 3 images can be submitted for club competition, I'm
having difficulty selecting my best three without seeing the projected
image first. I understand how projection is critical and a viewer can be
foregiving. Your comments are appreciated.
Thanks MARK DOTTLE
