3D exhibit opening in San Jose, California 9/12-10/24

The Art-Tech Gallery in San Jose, California will be hosting a 3-D exhibit
beginning next week: "Biomorphs in 3-D" by Steve Aubrey. The opening
reception is September 12 from 6 to 9 pm, and it runs through October 24. 

I picked up a copy of the invitation (a nice lenticular postcard) at the
gallery today. There's not a lot of info. It says the artists is "...a
world renowned expert in 3-D media. With the Biomorph Series, he
synthesized his background as a fine artists with 10 years of research in
Lenticular 3-D to create an organic, neoteric mode of expression."

His works, "Gardens of Nocturne" and "An Apparatus for Digesting Thoughts"
are pictured on the front of the card. The originals are 16" x 16"
laminated lenticular 3-D prints on archival photographic paper. The images
are abstract. They appear to be either computer models, or perhaps
photographs of scuptures.
