Larry, at this point there are jsut over 30 people interested... That is
not a profit making number. I think Bob is go for letting me have access
to the 125 MB of Photo-3D stuff, and several companies have offered
images and software to distribute. I wish you would be a part if it
happens, but if you choose to not be a part of it, that's OK too. I
would probably still include a link to your page.
As to shares of possible return for thos who submit something, I don't
see how this can adeqately be measured. Say you add 5MB of data, do I
give you $.10 (or something) per MB that you include per CD that sells?
If I need to do that kind of micro management of costs for all 350 or so
places that might submit data, I just won't do the project. It's already
a big enough monster as is. If you want profit from a CD, then maybe you
should just make your own. This CD is a snapshop of the current 3D web,
and nothing more. As Sam said, a "vanity" CD.
