EMBEDing JPS files is by no means "DepthCharge specific code". It's
generic HTML code that is fully supported by Netscape and MSIE. Any
plug-in that registers the MIME type: "image/x-jps" will work with
EMBED tags (the reason the Total3D viewer does not is because its
not a true plugin, its a helper application).

So, yes, if you EMBED JPS images you cut out the Total 3D users that are
not using DepthCharge (DepthCharge fully supports the Total 3D board, btw).
However, if you choose NOT to EMBED JPS images, you cut out MSIE users
(MSIE doesn't seem to understand non-EMBEDed files). I'd be willing
to bet theres a LOT more MSIE users that Total3D users.

I'm not going to get into a detailed discussion as to why or why not you
should EMBED JPS files on this list but if anyone is interested i'll be
happy to discuss it via private email.
