Has anyone else tried this new Kodak infrared slide film?
It is a E-6 process film that requires the use of yellow
wratten #12 filters. I shot a roll and discovered something
important-- well actually two things. First, if you don't
use the filters you get a magenta monochrome image rather
than an infrared photo. Second, this film DEPOLARIZES!
So you will have to put polarizing filters in front of
the slide. At tonight's Oakland Camera Club meeting I'll
have to quickly put an upside down pair of polarizing
glasses in front of the TDC 716 projector when they read
the tile of the Kodak EIR slide.
