Sorry, but the Fleischer's "Stereographic Process" was not a 3D process. =
I
believe this was the trademark term for their system of photographing
animated figures in front of a miniature set to give the image a more
3-dimentional (on the flat screen) effect. It wasn't used much if at all =
in
the 17 Superman cartoons they produced in the 1940s, but can be seen ofte=
n
in their Popeye and Betty Boop cartoons, among others.
