Thanks for the insite.  Could you go on a bit about the type of camera and
aperture/exposure settings.

Every time I try this, I end up having to adjust aperture/exposure as my
viewing angle approaches the sun.  Of course I always try this on a clear
day, ideally with "interesting" cloud structures.

I would love to have the funding to cut and paste such a panorama via
computer but the hard copy output wouldn't be cheap!!!!

I suspect 3D 360 deg panoramas are still chemistry at our level.
