mounting strategies

Dr. T,

What does this mean?  Do you mean that objects seven feet away will be
positioned in exactly the same place in the left and right frame, in regard
to the windows of the mount?  For example, a statue seven feet away is
2.5mm away from the left edge and 2.5mm away from the top of the left
window in the mount.  Will the right chip be mounted so the statue is also
2.5mm away from the edges of the right mount window?  Or is that what you
mean by "constant separation"?
