I don't know. I do recall asking some dumb question and being referred to
Tyco in New Jersey for an answer. I would *assume* that R&D at View-Master
is directed by Tyco, Fisher-Price, Mattel or whoever runs the company.

If you read the Wall Street Journal (or even USA Today business pages)
you'll see that CEOs are routinely hired for their "brilliance" and just
as often fired for their failed decisions. There was a piece just today on
Kodak EO's poor decision making.

One would *hope* that View-Master would continue to produce wonderful
things, in the tradition of William Gruber's brilliant invention.
