I believe this is a great tool for viewing 3d in the web too. Switching
from the right to the left eye lets you cross-view!

Here is what I said (in my original review):
"Alan touches on two issues of interest to theoreticians :): Isn't the
magnification larger in the unaided eye because of the shorter light path?
Isn't there keystoning present due to use of mirrors? The answer is YES to
both questions but the effects are negligible from a practical point of
view. They both might be more noticeable the closer you get to the image
but they are not a problem at normal viewing distances (at the stop
location of the pivoting mirror)."
I have not seen any keystoning and the test is not wider separation but
how close you come to the image (by adjusting the pivoting mirror).
