P3D 3D Movies in Oz

Nov 11, 1997:

Two bits of Australian 3D news:

1. The Panasonic IMAX theatre in Sydney was recently upgraded to 3D.
(in the past few weeks according to my SMPTE newsletter).
I don't know when they will start screening 3D IMAX movies.

update Nov 14, 1997: They are currently screening "Across the
                          Sea of Time" in 3D

2. Marvin the Martian in 3D is coming to the Australian Warner Bros.
Movie World:

With regards to the "first and only animated 3D movie" quote. I
guess they haven't heard of "Starchaser: The Legend of Orin" 107minutes

I'm off to Sydney & Brisbane in December. You don't need to be Einstein
to work out where I'll be heading....! :-)
